This policy explains how StageU collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website and app. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, country, language and time-zone preferences.
- Event data: event details, programme cues, guest names, designations and biographies you enter, generated scripts and audio.
- Payment data: purchase records and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we do not store them.
- Voice artist data: recordings, identity verification documents and payout details submitted by voice artists, stored privately and encrypted where applicable.
- Technical data: basic logs needed for security and to operate the Service.
2. How we use data
To provide and secure the Service, generate scripts and audio you request, process payments, provide support, and improve quality. We do not sell personal data.
3. Service providers
To deliver features we share the minimum necessary data with providers acting on our behalf, including Supabase (database, sign-in and storage), Google Gemini, Sarvam AI and ElevenLabs (script and voice generation), Razorpay (payments), Render and Cloudflare (hosting and networking). Some providers may process data outside India.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep data while your account is active. You can delete your account and its events, cues and audio from the app at any time. Records we must keep by law, such as payment records, are retained for the required period.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, by writing to us.
6. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and private storage to protect your data.
